Diş eti çekilmesi diş eti dokusunun dişleri ya da diş köklerini açıkta bırakacak şekilde geri çekilmesi şeklinde ortaya çıkmaktadır. Meydana gelen bu cepler veya boşluklar ağız ve diş estetiğine olumsuz etki yaptığı gibi, farklı hastalıklara sebep olabilecek bakterilerin ağız içerisinde kolayca birikmesinde sebep olurlar. Tedavi edilmediği takdirde dişleri destekleme görevine sahip doku ve kemiklere ciddi derecede zarar verebilecek olan diş eti çekilmesi, zamanında tedavi edildiğinde tamamen iyileşir.

Diş Eti Çekilmesi Nasıl Tedavi Edilir?

Diş eti çekilmesi tedavisi, hekim tarafından ortaya çıkan sorunun hafif olarak değerlendirilmesi halinde bölgenin derinlemesine temizlenmesiyle yapılır. Çekilmenin meydana geldiği bölgede yapılan temizlik işlemlerinde diş eti çizgisinin altındaki dişlerde ve kök düzeylerinde biriken plak ve tartar oluşumları çıkarılır. Sonrasında ise, bakterilerin tutunmasını engellemek adına açıkta kalan kök alanı düzgünleştirilir. Temizleme işlemi sonunda hekim tarafından gerekli görülmesi halinde kalan bakterilerin etkisiz hale getirilmesi amacıyla antibiyotik tedavisi önerilir.

Diş eti temizliği ile giderilmesi mümkün olmayan çekilmelerde ise, ortaya çıkan hasarın giderilmesi diş eti şişmesi diş eti ameliyatı gerektirebilir.
